On a hot day like today, why not take a few bags of clothing to one of our shops and with the cash you receive get yourself a nice ice lolly to cool down with.
About Cash 4 Clothes
Posts by Cash 4 Clothes:
Mums and dads are jumping for joy as the Easter break has ended and the children are back at school. It is now the time to de clutter and sort out your wardrobes, get the old and too small stuff in to bags and bring them to your local cash4clothes where we will offer 40p per kilo.
Most clothes that our customers bring to our shops are clean and wearable, smelling nicely, and not too much worn. Most items are just what we are looking for and are in a perfect condition to be sent to our clients in Africa or Eastern Europe.
But sometimes we have to reject otherwise perfectly good clothes simply because they are not completely dry. This is because we pack them immediately into plastic bags and they will not have a chance to dry any more. Damp clothes would then have that musty smell of mildew and by the time they arrive to the people we send them to they would be a mouldy pile of rubbish, and they would be dangerous to their health.
Please make sure you dry your clothes completely before bringing them to one of our shops to avoid disappointment and your clothes being rejected. We don’t “put them into the bin for you” either – they could be a risk to our shop assistants’ health.
Please kindly take back all rejected items. We don’t offer rubbish collection – we buy clothes to be worn by other people. Thank you for your understanding and we welcome dry, clean wearable clothes. They would help thousands of children and their families in Africa and Eastern Europe.
